At De IJsmakerij Amsterdam, our goal is to create ice cream and sorbet of the highest standard. Our recipes feature only the purest and freshest local, seasonal and organic ingredients – raw, unprocessed milk for the ice cream is provided by a sustainable and ethically-run nearby farm, and sorbets are made with premium quality fresh, ripe fruit. All our products are made with an authentic Italian ice cream machine, using 100% solar power, in the heart of Amsterdam-West.
De Noordermarkt Kantine is a venture from De IJsmakerij founder, Amsterdam native Michel Smit. The Kantine offers a place to sit at the heart of the Noordermarkt to enjoy pourover coffees, refreshing drinks, tasty organic meals and, of course, during the Spring and Summer season, our very own De IJsmakerij ice cream.

The brainchild of Maja and Chris of nearby Coffee Room fame, La La IJs is a friendly, quirky, stylish ice cream salon in Kinkerbuurt, serving 30 flavours of ice cream and sorbets exclusively by De IJsmakerij – including plenty of delicious vegan options.
